The following short films introduce us to four distinct tableaux where traffic and concrete, fields and forests suggest and impose on the artists a rhythm and a unique occupation to these places.<\/p>\n<p>In order to create a dialogue with the artists of these works, we invited Maya Cousineau Mollen to deliver poems (in French only) that echo her viewing of <em>Promenade, A Cherry On Top, White Noise <\/em>and<em> God Lin<\/em>. This author and activist works in various social and political spheres to defend the cause of Indigenous women as well as that of her Innu people and First Nations in general. In 2019, she published her first book of poetry, entitled <em>Br\u00e9viaire du matricule 082<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Remember that screendance is a process where dance unfolds through and by the screen.
