Founded in 2012, Regards Hybrides’ mandate is to facilitate the articulation and development of artistic practices in which dance and cinema are intertwined. Its web platform collects and share existing resources in screendance, in addition to connecting organizations that are involved in its development. The biennale project Regards Hybrides : An International Forum launched in 2017 is the core-event of Regards Hybrides. Produced by Mandoline Hybride, in collaboration with Tangente, the event is dedicated to the interaction between dance and cinema at a time of high interest for digital and new technologies, gathering international artists and researchers. Regards Hybrides also offers professional and student workshops, as well as mentoring for artists, presenters and other cultural workers in order to facilitate the emerging of new initiatives in this hybrid field.
